I don't remember the last time I read a book so fast. Last night at about 9pm I started this book, and I finished it this morning. It was such an easy, funny, steamy read. I actually got a newsletter from Kendall Ryan and that's how I found out about this book. I one clicked it, and it's been on my kindle ever since.
The blurb of this one won me over right away, I was all for it. I love books where people are texting the wrong number, it just adds so much humor to the story. This book was so cleverly written, I was hooked from the start. The story starts with Josh trying to decide the best way to take a "dick pick" A girl he is chatting with online requested one. He sends it to the number she gave him, and turns out she gave him a fake number. Peyton receives the picture, and then a hilarious conversation ensues. To add to the hilarity and awkwardness of the situation, the next day Josh has a new client he needs to win over, and you guessed it, it's Peyton. The sexual chemistry between the two is off the charts.
"It all started with a sexy selfie. Texted to the wrong number. Oops. Not my finest moment- but I have nothing to be ashamed of. She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again. It was a stupid dare from a girl I'd met online, but since she'd given me a fake number, I didn't feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere-on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening. The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana. When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton, in case you're not tracking. And let's just say she had my full attention. Brains? Check. Beauty? Oh yeah. And the best part? She hated me on sight. Dear God, do I love a challenge. Let the games begin."

"But hey, on the plus side, she hasn't seen the boys, just their leader."
I loved Peyton. She was serious about her business, but didn't take much else to seriously. Her relationship with her Gram was fantastic, and Gram was actually one of my favorite characters. I liked that Peyton realized she was attracted to Josh, and instead of trying to deny it, she just came out with it. She was confident, and I liked her spunk. Can I just have my ham hock and eat it too? Adulting is so hard sometimes.
Josh was fantastic. The absolute best kind of book boyfriend. He knew what he wanted and he went for it. He didn't play games. He didn't use other women to make her jealous, he knew he wanted her and he made she she knew it. He was successful, and had a lot going for him. Not to mention, he was absolutely adorable with Grams. I love that about him.
"And if you love somebody," Gram adds, "there's nothing in this world worth losing them for."
The sexual chemistry between these two was off the charts. That is my favorite kind of book. I love it when you can just feel the attraction between two characters coming off the pages, and the author makes you wait a bit for someone to make their move. These two were perfect for each other, and I loved that their story was sweet and steamy, and didn't have much drama. It made the book easy to read, and I was definitely rooting for them.
"Peyton falling in love with you is the least professional thing I've ever done. And I want to keep doing it over and over again."
Overall, I'm giving this one 5 STARS. I really loved it. I loved the comedy, the sweetness, the steaminess, and the dialogue. The characters, main and side, were fantastic. This was an easy read, and I loved every bit of it!
