This was my first book by Kristen Granata, but it won't be my last. This was great read! It was not only a sweet love story, but also a heartwarming story about family and loss.  "Merritt Adams was used to taking care of herself. With her mother's selfish abandonment and her father's suicide, she is convinced that nobody will ever stick around for long. However, after she is mysteriously rescued from a fiery crash, Merritt learns how to accept help, and love-even when it comes from an unexpected source. Trying to create a new life for herself will be difficult, and so will resisting the charms of someone she swore she would never show interest in. In addition to the buzz surrounding Merritt's tragic headlines, everyone is talking about the charismatic Chase Brooks' return home after spending two years in California aspiring to become a rock star. What people don't know is the real reason why he had to leave his dreams behind. Saddened by his retur

Little did she know, she was heading into a year-long relationship that would turn sour, leaving them broken, and her with a new determination to find a life of her own outside of Delaware. Decker Jefferys knows a thing or two about broken relationships. He knows some are worth fixing, like the family he abandoned in search of his own fresh start when he ended up in Katherine's home state, and some are beyond repair, like the girlfriend he's given the past year

I'd wanted to kiss her as I watched her scrub the wall her little face wrinkled up in concentration. I'd wanted to kiss her when she fell off the ladder and into my arms. And all day today while we painted the shop, I only thought about one thing.            I wanted to kiss her. And I was accustomed to getting what I wanted.            "Did you hear me?" Kash asked impatiently.             "Hmm?"            He rolled his eyes, his long body stretched out
