I received an ARC of Ruin from the author for my honest review. Ruin is book 3 in the standalone Kingdom of Sin series. I would highly recommend reading the first two books also, because this series is amazing! 

Every time I read a book by Willow Aster I just fall more and more in love with her and her writing. She knows how to write a story that draws you in from the first page, and keeps you invested the whole way through. 

I have loved Ava from a distance, her small parts in the previous books have made her intriguing to me, and I couldn't wait for her to get her own book. She was a spitfire, and even though she was young, she had no problem telling people exactly what she wanted and what she was thinking. She was an old soul, and I really loved that about her. 

If she is the fire, let me burn. 

Gentry was so fantastic. I felt for him during this book, because he was trying to do the right thing, and trying to be the bigger person, but sometimes your feelings are stronger than you can handle. Ava made him weak, but I don't necessarily think that was a bad thing. He was a great guy, he wanted what was best for his family and for Ava, and I think he more than proved that he would do anything to make sure she was safe. 

I LOVE how these books are not just all about the romance, sure romance plays a huge part in them, but these books are so much more. They have mystery, and action. The romance will draw you in, but you'll stay for the mystery. I like how they are stand alone novels, but the mystery weaves throughout all of them. 

Hands down, this is easily a 5 STAR read for me. Willow Aster has made a huge fan out of me, and I can't get enough of these books. Don't sleep on them, pick them all up and start a binge read right now, and get yourself ready for book 4!

Love didn't make people feel hate.  If you follow my blogs then you know that a couple weeks ago I mad a post with reviews from books 1-4 of the Off Balance series by Lucia Franco. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of book number 5, Dismount.  This series is controversial for some. There are people that don't like the content. There are people that don't agree with the theme. These people basically verbally attack Lucia over writing from her heart. That's not right.
